Cody "TKO" Smith delivers a leg drop to Gangrel during ASW action at the Totem Hall on Saturday (June 23).

It seems that Cody “TKO” Smith has had a bit of an attitude change since the last time he competed at the Totem Hall for All Star Wrestling (ASW).

Smith, angered that fans in attendance were cheering for Gangrel, expressed his distaste for his hometown while addressing the crowd before his main event match against the former WWE star on Saturday (June 23).

“Who here is proud to be from Squamish?” Smith asked. “Well I'm embarrassed. Who wants to be half an hour from Whistler and 45 minutes from Vancouver? Squamish you can kiss my…”

Despite the harsh words, Smith still retained some support from the fans but it wasn't enough as Gangrel planted Smith with his finishing move – the implant ddt – at 9:10. The loss likely stings even more for Smith as Gangrel's newly won ASW Trans-Canada championship was on the line in the match.

Smith appeared to be shaken up after the match and needed assistance to the dressing room, while Gangrel praised the toughness of his opponent and thanked the fans following the match.

The show also saw a title change as Disco Fury defeated The Great Kasaki to win the ASW cruiserweight title. The match was contested in a best two out of three falls match, with Kasaki scoring the first pinfall at 6:20 and Disco evening the match up 46 seconds later. Disco won the final fall after a frog splash at 14:56.

The opening bout saw Matt Xstatic defeat Mantasia with a swanton bomb at 8:30, with “Killer” Tim Justice pinning Toga Boy with a powerslam at 6:40. The night's lone tag team match saw the Breakers defeat the Wasps at 7:14.
