There was a distinct Squamish flavour in the Elite Female downhill mountain biking championships at Mont Ste-Anne, Que. on Sunday (July 8).
Lauren Rosser, competing for the first time at the event in the Elite Female division, placed second with a time of five minutes, 16.497 seconds. Rosser finished a little under five seconds behind winner Casey Brown from Revelstoke. Squamish’s Miranda Miller also competed, placing fifth with a time of 5:23.066.
Rosser and Miller aren’t the only Team Squamish members who’ve been busy in the month of July. Several members took part in the Bear Mountain downhill race in Mission on July 1 and posted some strong results.
