‘Into the Woods’ opening set

Squamish Days Loggers Sports, the Squamish Sculptors’ Group and the Squamish Arts Council (SAC) are hosting one of the first events of the Squamish Days festival tonight.

The opening of the Into the Woods art exhibit, featuring inspired magic by a diverse range of local artists exhibiting their wooden art pieces, is planned tonight (Aug. 2) from 7 to 9 p.m. at the SAC building, 37950 Cleveland Ave.

Red Riding Hood will cater the free, family-friendly event, serving delectable fairytale treats from her picnic basket. Attendees are encouraged to dress in costume for the occasion. Also, Samera Gibson will be painting live on site.
