Titans continue undefeated streak

Pee-Wee football team yet to taste defeat after two weeks

The Sea to Sky Titans Pee-Wee football team remain undefeated after a 22-14 come-from-behind victory over the North Vancouver 49ers at Norgate Park on Sunday (Sept. 16).

Titans running back Devon Bailey had a touchdown and a two-point conversion, while quarterback Adam Klimchuck-Brown threw the game-winning pass to rookie wide receiver Luke Haasen. The team of local 10- and 11-year-olds opened the season on Sept. 9, battling the Raiders to a 6-6 tie.

Meanwhile, the Sea to Sky Titans Minor team is still looking for its first win of the season after a 43-18 loss to the North Vancouver 49ers at Norgate Park on Sunday Sept. 9).

The Titans started strong with Hunter Verner returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown, but failed to keep any momentum until a late-game surge that saw Jack Forsyth and Verner each reach the end zone for scores. Week 1 saw the team of local 12- and 13-year-olds lose 21-0 to the Vikings.

Both teams will return to Howe Sound Field on Sunday (Sept. 23) to take on the Colts. The Pee-Wee team hits the gridiron at 11:30 a.m., with the Minors playing at 1 p.m.
