Pee Wee Titans win second straight

Pee Wees tied for first, Minor Titans’ struggles continue

The Sea to Sky Pee Wee Titans continued their winning ways on Sunday (Oct. 14) with a 12-0 win over the Raiders in North Vancouver.

Devon Bailey led the way for the Titans, scoring both two touchdowns in the win. The team improved to four wins, one loss and one tie on the season and are now in a three-way tie with the Colts and 49ers for first place in the division. The Titans also boast the division’s stingiest defence, allowing only 50 points in six games.

It’s a different story for the Sea to Sky Minor Titans, who lost 41-0 to the North Vancouver Vikings on Sunday. Team officials praised the improved defensive efforts of rookies Cole Gimse and Zach Rhuland, who combined for eight tackles.

The Minor Titans remain winless on the season, with a record of zero wins and six losses.

Both teams will be in action on Sunday (Oct. 21), with the 49ers coming to town. The Pee Wees kick off at 11:30 a.m., while the Minors hit the gridiron at 1 p.m. at Howe Sound Secondary School. For more details on both teams, visit www.gslfootball.ca.
