Neighbourhood disrupted

EDITOR,

Blasting has begun on the Crumpit Woods development site and I feel the need to write in and tell you that my house is actually shaking with every blast (we get about four a day) and my windows are vibrating. We live across the street from the construction site and do not qualify for a “survey” but I am really concerned about damage to my home, not to mention the disruption caused by the endless noise. My one-year-old is having real trouble napping during the day. Whoever was part of the approval process for this development should take a trip up to Plateau Drive during the day time and see what a mess it’s become and how unhappy the neighbourhood is with what is going on.
