Backcountry skiing is already a popular activity in the Squamish area. If resort developers have their way, lift-assisted skiing will take place on Brohm Ridge in the not-too-distant future.

Garibaldi at Squamish (GAS) hosted a meeting on Thursday (Nov. 22) at the Squamish Adventure Centre. The presentation went over a hefty list of next step for the resort proposal. Reporter Rebecca Aldous blogged live from the event. Check out next week's Squamish Chief for the full story.
