Anti-bullying scholarship up for grabs

Canada’s national anti-bullying charity is searching for a few bold students who stood up for their classmates.

BullyingCanada is accepting applications for the organization’s scholarship program. The scholarships are open to students in their final year of high school who have worked to end bullying in their schools and communities.

The first round consists of three scholarships, one for $500 and two for $250, with more to follow in the coming months.

The deadline for application is Jan. 1, 2013. For more information ask officials at the school or contact Bullying Canada. Applications can be downloaded online at www.bullyingcanada.ca or requested by telephone at 1-977-352-4497 or by email at info@bullyingcanada.ca.
