Doo-ing it right

EDITOR,

Yesterday, I picked up 30-plus soggy little green bags of poop along the railway tracks between Brackendale Art Gallery and Depot Road. I know the perpetrator of all of these is the same person with the same dog because all the poops were small and all the bags were tossed untied (Eeeewe...). Who does that? Really.

Whoever you are, if you are not going to take it with you, for goodness sake don’t pick it up in the first place! I know that sounds wrong, but kick it under a bush and the rain and slugs will do the rest. Much better than little green bags everywhere — and they were everywhere.

It’s just common sense. There are a lot of dogs here, so responsible poop management is certainly needed one way or another. Dropping poopy bags all over the place is just plain NOT OK!
