It didn’t take long for B&B Excavating to get back on the winning track.
The defending Howe Sound Men’s Soccer League (HSMSL) champions tasted defeat for the first time in almost a year on Feb. 24, but the club bounced back with a 4-0 win against the Ellis Moving Eagles on Sunday (March 3).
League-leading goal scorer Jeremy Galley reached 20 on the year after potting two against the Eagles, with Dan Clouth and Jag Sangha adding singles. B&B improved to 11 wins, one loss and two ties with the win, while the Eagles remained in third with a record of eight wins, five losses and one tie.
Sunday’s other game saw Sikh Temple and Automind play to a 2-2 tie. Paul Sangha and Bruno Freitas scored for Temple, with Griffin Dare and Charlie Robinson replying for Automind. Temple sits one point ahead of Automind in fourth place with a record of six wins, six losses and two ties, while Automind’s record moved to six wins, seven losses and one tie.
Galileo was scheduled to take on Lilwat FC in the late game but the game will be replayed at a later date.
