A unique Squamish location is the backdrop for a new car commercial.
In the advertisement, shot at Squamish Mills and Sqomish Forestry on the Mamquam Blind Channel, two Subaru cars race through a racetrack framed by logs.
The drivers are Canadian Rally drivers Antoine L'Estage and Brandon Semenuk driving the 2016 WRX STI and BRZ- Hikari editions.
Chris Turner, foreman at Sqomish Forestry, helped with the shoot, which was filmed on Easter long weekend.
“I just think it was nice of them to profile us partially in their video to help promote the industry. It was nice to see,” Turner said.
