Anyone looking for proof of Squamish’s hot real estate market need look no further than the rapid sellout of ParkHouse Squamish Ltd. last weekend.

The 65-unit condo development under construction near the entrance to the Squamish Estuary downtown sold out in just 90 minutes, according to the development’s spokesperson.

The majority of the condos were sold to local residents.

Dozens of people lined up before 11 a.m. Saturday at the ParkHouse presentation centre in downtown Squamish, waiting for the office to open at noon. The development includes one, two and three-bedroom condos priced between $167,000 and $449,900. The development is scheduled to be move-in ready in about 12 months.
