A rainfall warning has been issued for Squamish.
A long episode of rain, at times heavy, will continue over Howe Sound until Wednesday afternoon, Environment Canada warns.
As of 11 a.m. today, 40 milimetres of rain have fallen at Squamish Airport. The total will likely reach 90 milimetres before the rain eases on Wednesday.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible, Environment Canada says.
