A two vehicle smash-up at the Industrial Way and Highway 99 intersection has redirected southbound traffic.
Paramedics responded to the crash but injuries have not been confirmed by the RCMP.
On scene police had closed the southbound section of Highway 99 from Commercial Way to Cleveland Avenue, redirecting drivers onto side streets.
At the intersection the front of a white BMW crossover was completely smashed in with airbags deployed. A second vehicle, an RCMP cruiser, had sustained damage to the passengeder-side door.
RCMP have not responded to a request for details on the crash. The highway is expected to reopen at 6:30 p.m.
