  • Legion struggles to keep doors open

    Last week, in the midst of a fight to keep its doors open, the Squamish Legion handed out $4,000 worth of scholarships to Squamish students.
    It's kind of ironic, Legion secretary Betty Adamson said. While the non-profit organization is struggling to stay afloat, it's donating money to a number of community causes.
