The First of its Kind in the Northwest
Expanding possibilities between Horse and Human, Double S Quarter Horses hosts the first Holistic Horse Festival of its kind in the Northwest. From Yoga on Horseback to Equine and Rider Balancing Massage, Horse Harmonics ~ Alchemy of Attunement brings together expert clinicians for an interactive weekend to help equines and their riders develop a deeper connection, correct physical imbalances, and expand a sense of play, all leading to better overall health and horsemanship.
Featuring certified practitioners in Myofascial Release for Horse and Rider, Equine Acupuncture and Chiropractic, and Yoga, Horse Harmonics unites perspectives that address the integrated horse and rider, offering tools and modalities that help deepen the horse-human connection and bring both into balance. Professionals in the industry will offer workshops and talks on Saturday February 23 to Sunday February 24 8-7pm on topics ranging from Foundational Hoof Care to Balanced Equine Nutrition to “Hoofball”—that’s right, a version of soccer on horseback!
Participants receive special clinic-only rates on private Massage, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Yoga and Hoof Care sessions. Horse Harmonics also highlights local artists from across Washington state exhibiting their equine work, including renowned artist Kim McElroy. The event features the USA premiere of the award-winning documentary, “One with the Herd,” plus local equestrian vendors offering a wide variety of wares for both horses and humans.
Double S Quarter Horses’ spacious indoor arena in Bow, WA, owned by Sue Sultze and Tom Pasma and home to their Champion Reining and Working Cow Horses, is nestled into the scenic and pastoral base of Blanchard Mountain, just minutes from the trails, dining, and unique views of Samish Bay and Chuckanut Drive.
Participants can come for one or both days, bring their horse or audit only, and tailor their experience with a variety of multidisciplinary teachings, with time to explore the area.
