Donor gives Squamish hospital $140k worth of surgical equipment

On June 25, the Squamish Hospital Foundation announced it had received $140,000 worth of orthopaedic surgical equipment — from a single donor. The new equipment will go to the Squamish General Hospital, where the foundation says it will help “enhance the orthopaedic services available at our hospital and is part of a long term development plan for the orthopaedic unit.”
