It might be more pleasant to head out to some of our local trails soon, thanks to a District of Squamish and School District 48 collaboration.
Locals have been increasingly complaining about human feces on local trails and a lack of facilities and parking for visitors.

In an effort to mitigate these neighbourhood and environmental impacts, the District has installed four Adventure Hubs near popular trailheads to offer off-street parking and washroom facilities.  Each hub includes a bike tool station and porta potty. Three hubs are equipped with a bike wash.

All hubs close at 10 p.m. daily.
School District 48 has provided access to two school parking lots to be used outside of school hours.

**Don Ross Middle School, 42091 Ross Road, Lower Parking Lot
**Bottom of Legacy Climb, Mamquam Road above Quest University Canada (does not include a bike wash as there is no running water available at this location).
**Garibaldi Highlands Elementary School, 2590 Portree Way
**2458 Mamquam Road Parking Lot

Please note, parking at the schools is not permitted during regular school hours, Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Users of the hubs can provide feedback directly to the District at 604-815-4040 (24-hours).
