Sirens is filming at Britannia Beach

Fans of the show may see some local landmarks in the background

Fans of the TV series Siren might be spot some local landmarks in the background next season.

The show was filming today at Britannia Beach, and film crews should be finished tidying up by 7 p.m. tonight.

Siren, formerly known as The Deep, is an American drama series that premiered on March 29.

It was renewed for a second season, which is expected to air in January 2019.

The show focuses on a coastal town that used to be the home of mermaids.
