The Squamish Children’s Festival is in dire need of funding and volunteers.
“The 2018 Squamish Children’s Festival is in crisis mode,” wrote Tara Lee, one of the organizers of the event. “I had to plead to the society members to give it one more week. I know we can make this happen! I am reaching out to local businesses to take a look at where you may be able to help.”
Lee says that they need sponsors in place by the end of this month.
Volunteers are needed to help with shirts, water bottles, a BBQ, and to hand out literature at the event.
The festival is scheduled to take place on Sept. 1.
