TB Vets — the key tag organization — is celebrating its 75th anniversary.

TB Vets Charitable Foundation is donating almost $800,000-worth of respiratory equipment to 28 different hospital, university and search and rescue foundations across B.C. including in Squamish.

"We serve all of British Columbians suffering from respiratory emergencies — from urban centers in Vancouver to rural and remote communities in Northern B.C.," reads a news release from the foundation.

2019 Respiratory Grant Award Recipients include the Squamish Hospital Foundation, which received $53,204.

TB Vets Charitable Foundation was the fist Key Tag program in British Columbia and since 1945 over 550,000 lost keys were found and returned because of it, according to the release.

TB Vets key tags will be in the mail mid-October. If keys with the tags are found, they can be dropped in the mail in a mailbox anywhere in Canada and they will be returned to their owners.
