The Woodfibre LNG Community Office is moving.
As of the new year, the office, which is currently located on Cleveland Avenue, will be set up in Aligned Collective on Second Ave.

“Aligned Collective is pleased to have another business renting our space which will allow us to continue to provide reasonably-priced coworking and event space in Squamish,” reads a statement from the Aligned Collective board of directors in a news release sent out by Woodfibre on Tuesday.

The not-for-profit Aligned Collective was launched by former municipal councillor Susan Chapelle and urban strategist Zanny Venner in the fall of 2017.
This is just the first of two moves planned for Woodfibre.

After six months, the local team will move into a new construction office. Negotiations for that move are currently underway, according to Jennifer Siddon of Woodfibre LNG.

The current downtown office was the victim of arson on Nov. 3, 2017. No one has ever been charged with that crime.

Siddon told The Chief the neighbours of the current office are expanding, leading the company to relocate.
