This $700 rental has an amazing view of Vancouver's skyline but it's a floor mattress

Would you sleep in an alcove with a privacy screen for cheap rent?

This cheap rental in the heart of Downtown Vancouver has a great view overlooking the city's skyscrapers, but there's a catch, obviously.

The rent is $700/month but the room is an alcove with a mattress on the floor separated from the rest of the apartment by a privacy screen. The Facebook Marketplace listing describes the rental as a "private furnished space" with a "spacious living area."

It also comes with an undisclosed number of roommates.

The listing classifies the apartment as a two-bedroom two-bathroom, and at least four people can be seen reflected in the window and in the background of the pictures. According to the listing "easy going people live here."

All utilities and WiFi are included in the rent and there is a gym in the building, in-suite laundry, and it's a walkable distance to the bus stop and SkyTrain near Robson Square.

Plus it has air conditioning and parking available so, you know, pros and cons.
