As lifestyle editor at the Vancouver Courier, I’m lucky that during the year some really great gifts land on my desk.
And while I try and write about some of these items, I can’t always get to all of them — my apologies.
But, I will attempt to make up for that now by not only writing about some of these items, but by also giving them away to someone who will either appreciate them or pass them on as a gift to someone else who will enjoy them.
This week’s prize pack includes a copy of Educated by Tara Westover, Then She was Gone by Lisa Jewell, Sea Prayer by Khaled Hosseini, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century and Washington Black by Esi Edugyan. I love books so have to admit I was tempted to keep these ones, but then decided there must be another reader out there who would enjoy them even more than me.
And I’m making it easy to enter. You don’t have to “follow” me or fill out a form or sign up for a newsletter. All you have to do is email me at sthomas@vancourier.com with the name of the prize in the subject line and we’ll hold a random draw next week. You also have to be able to pick the prize up from the Courier office on West Fifth Avenue — it’s that simple.
