As things made a dramatic shift this year, there were less photos of masks and provincial health officials, and more of people returning to public gatherings and sporting events.
At the North Shore News, we published pictures of veterans, Indigenous leaders, the Prime Minister, the late great Muhammad Ali, skateboarders, sledders and centenarian dancers, to name a few.
We also said a warm farewell to photographer Mike Wakefield, who filled our pages with vivid images of the community for 37 years. We wish him a picture-perfect retirement.
