Vancouver police are looking for a man after he allegedly chased two women at night.

Police are looking for witnesses and a suspect after "a concerning incident" this past weekend.

At around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, two women were waiting at a bus stop on Commercial Drive near Graveley Street. While waiting, a pair of men in a black truck pulled up and reportedly began catcalling the women.

The pair in the truck did this several times.

The passenger in the truck then got out and started chasing the women, according to the Vancouver Police Department. The women were able to get to a safe place and called police. The suspects were able to leave the scene and haven't been located.

Police are looking for the suspects and witnesses.

"We know there was a witness standing at the bus stop in the area that may have seen what was going on,” says Const. Tania Visintin. “We are asking for that person, and anyone else with information, to come forward and speak to investigators."

One of the men is described as six feet tall and wearing glasses and a grey and black t-shirt.

Anyone with information can call 604-717-4021.
