Online survey available until July 12

What if we sprung forward into daylight time and never went back?

That’s what the provincial government is asking people to weigh in on with a new online survey asking British Columbians to share their views on how time should be observed in the province.

The online survey will ask British Columbians if we should continue the practice of changing our clocks biannually – which typically involves “springing forward” into daylight time in March and “falling back” to standard time come November – or adopt year-round observance of daylight time.

The online survey is available now until July 12, according to a press release from the B.C. government.

A final decision is expected to be announced this fall.
