District council voted to maintain the $2-million line of credit it has with Scotiabank.

All councillors voted in favour of the bylaw.

“We currently don’t use our line of credit very robustly,” said Christine Mathews, the municipality’s chief financial officer.

“We only had one incident last year over the Christmas period where we tapped into it, but our bank does require this bylaw to maintain that credit line.”
