Here we go again.
Environment Canada has issued yet another heat warning for Howe Sound, as the possibiliy of record-breaking temperatures loom.
Readings this afternoon are expected to reach a high of 34 C, with a humidex rating of 36.
If that does happen, Squamish could break its benchmark high for Aug. 8, which was set in 1960 with a temperature of 32.2 C.
As of 1 p.m. today, Environment Canada says the temperature of Squamish is 31 C.
Tomorrow the high is expected to hit 33 C, with a humidex rating of 35.
On Friday, the forecast is 29 C, with a 60 per cent of showers.
