The organizers of the Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival are offering free passes to ticket holders of the cancelled Pemberton Music Festival.

“Music fans are what sustain the festival industry and we don’t want to see those fans left high and dry,” said BBRF creative director Jeremy Kornel in a press release.

The Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival will be held in Beaumont, Alta. from June 16 to 18. This year’s 10th anniversary lineup includes Corb Lund, Matt Anderson, Fred Penner, the Dungarees and Punch Drunk Cabaret on two stages.

“While the Pemberton cancellation is disappointing for many, we want to offer a small consolation and give those fans an opportunity to engage in a weekend of unique experiences in Beaumont,” said Kornel.

Pemberton Festival ticket holders can contact the festival at jeremy@bbrf.ca and attach an image of their Pemberton ticket for validation and exchange. Please remember to include personal contact information.

This offer expires June 3 and is only available while tickets last. Go to www.bbrf.ca for more information.
