Girl's bike stolen

A girl's pink and black Specialized Sapphire bicycle was stolen from Brackendale Elementary School sometime on June 22, police say. The owner of the bike had walked home at the end of the school day and when she returned to collect her bike later that evening, she realized that it was no longer there. If you have seen this bike please contact Squamish RCMP and quote file number 2019-3777.

A bagful of vape pens found

A duffel bag full of disposable vape pens sealed in plastic tubes was found by Squamish RCMP in the 1000 block of Centennial Way on June 23.

The bag appeared abandoned. Police would like to remind the public that if such a discovery is made to phone the non-emergency police line.

Not finders keepers

A hiker discovered on June 23 that the bag he had previously stashed in a bush at the base of the Stawamus Chief had been taken.

The bag contained hiking equipment, a wallet, and a car rental key.
