Squamish woman is a headliner at upcoming MMA event

Jamey Lyn-Horth is headlining the BFL fight card next week.

According to Mike Nasu of local gym The Sound, it’s the first time that a female fighter will be the main event for the BFL.

 Two other local fighters will be competing in the event.

Gwyn Berry is fighting for the Amateur Featherweight MMA Belt and Taran Bir is vying for the Amateur Bantam weight Kickboxing belt.

The event will take place at the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam.

Battlefield Fight League 57 will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 22.
