The Sea to Sky School District says there have been three recent cases of COVID-19 in Squamish schools.

Spokesperson Jennifer Morris said one case occurred in Don Ross Middle School.

On Jan. 21, she said, a letter went home to families saying that a member of that school had tested positive for COVID-19.

Vancouver Coastal Health's website  says a potential exposure for that school happened on Jan. 11.

Morris said that there were two exposures in Mamquam Elementary, with letters going home both on Jan. 22 and Jan. 24 indicating each time a person tested positive for COVID-19.

Potential exposure days were Jan. 13 to 15 and Jan. 18, according to VCH.
