LETTER: Why not change clocks a day early?

Dear editor:

Well, here we go again - time to set the clocks forward for daylight time. Let the pro and con debate begin - there are strong arguments for each side.  Undoubtedly, the difficulties adjusting to the time change and increases in accident rates will be mentioned in the media and around the water cooler. But wait!  Here’s an idea that seems just too simple to ignore: why not change the clocks at 2 a.m. on Saturday morning instead of Sunday morning?  That would allow us the whole weekend to adjust, instead of just one day.  Come on, powers that be, this one’s a no-brainer.
