LETTER: Greedy people

In George Orwell’s book Politics of the English Language one can change the feeling toward words or phrases by putting a friendly word or phrase on an objectionable action. You give the name of these persons as investors.

In George Orwell’s book Politics of the English Language one can change the feeling toward words or phrases by putting a friendly word or phrase on an objectionable action.

You give the name of these persons as investors. Well lets call them what they are – greedy people.

Some of these people are not here to make a strong vibrant community, but only to make a quick buck. Sure there could be some collateral winners, but that is not the intent.

Every homeowner and businessperson is paying extra taxes and utility fees for these greedy people.

These people should be admonished not revered. This is just madness. Why is council so oblivious? A few councillors are very bright.
