The Squamish Chief polled 243 readers and asked the question: How confident are you that you are saving enough for your retirement?

The poll ran from 7/12/2022 to 7/30/2022. Of the 243 votes, we can determine that 93 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

I am very confident I will save enough to retire. 9.68 % local, 13.58 % total    
I am somewhat confident I will save enough to retire. 16.13 % local, 14.81 % total    
I know I won't save enough to retire and will have to continue working into my old age. 25.81 % local, 27.16 % total    
I am not sure if I will save enough to retire. 20.43 % local, 20.16 % total    
I am already retired. 27.96 % local, 24.28 % total
