When you think of the Metrotown area, does the word “quieter” jump to mind? Perhaps not, but the builders of Artesia are highlighting the more serene part of this Burnaby neighbourhood.

When you think of the Metrotown area, does the word “quieter” jump to mind?

Perhaps not, but the builders of Artesia are highlighting the more serene part of this Burnaby neighbourhood.

“Located on the quieter side of Metrotown, Qualex-Landmark’s twenty fourth residential community will feature a collection of 247 serene one, two and three- bedroom residences in a 31-storey high rise building,” says a news release.

“Inspired by the location’s low density and protected environment, a rarity for Metrotown, Ramsay Worden Architects' approach to smart urban planning is masterfully executed in their vision for Artesia.”

Upon arrival, a lofty and attended lobby sits upon an aquatic base, forming a gateway to 5,300 square feet of interior facilities and 12,600 square feet of outdoor programming.

Keyless building access and touchless entry point provide added convenience while sanitization and water filtration systems can be found in the common areas. To encourage sustainability, a bike and car share program will be available for residents of Artesia to enjoy and commute to nearby neighbourhood amenities. In addition, EV ready parking stalls and storage are located within the secured parkade. Artesia’s mechanical system, managed by Fortis, will also be integrated to ensure efficient performance.
