Lucky 7 for local runner

A Squamish athlete placed in the Top 10 women’s category of a recent cross country running competition.

Brooklyn Higgs took seventh place with a time of twenty-nine minutes and 59 seconds.

Higgs was part of the Thompson Rivers University team.

The competition happened on Sept. 29 in Kelowna, and is part of the President’s Cup series of events.
