Squamish athletes muscle through powerlifting comp

Squamish Crossfit hosted the Knuckle Duster on Feb. 1

On Feb. 1, Squamish Crossfit held its first powerlifting competition of the year. Among the more than 30 athletes who competed, several Squamish residents earned provincial and national records. While Crossfit co-owner Jesse Biffano told The Chief no world records were achieved, many of the athletes hit personal bests.

The results are ranked across weight classes by calculating the coefficients, the body weight against total weight lifted.
