Win at the New Zealand ski championships

Squamish athlete Mikayla Martin took the win while representing Canada in Cardrona, New Zealand at the World Junior Championships in Ski Cross.

Martin has seen past success in international completions winning two silver medals at the Whistler Cup in 2010, a seventh place at the most prestigious world youth race in Topolino Italy in 2014 and a silver medal at the Europa Cup in Mittenwald, Germany, in 2018.
