A Whistler snowmobiler got more excitement than she bargained for during a ride in the Tricone Basin Friday (Jan. 23). The unidentified woman was riding in the backcountry between Squamish and Whistler with a group of friends.

When you call 911, you expect someone to answer. That didn't happen at 6:45 a.m. on May 4, 2003. A Brackendale resident needed an ambulance that Sunday morning because his wife was seriously ill.
