The Vancouver Police Department is seeking witnesses to a collision in East Vancouver, B.C. on April 25, 2024, that left a man with serious injuries.

Vancouver police are asking for witnesses and dash-cam video following a collision that left a driver hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

On Thursday, April 25 at 3 p.m., a grey Honda Civic collided with a grey Dodge Caravan, "causing the Honda to spin around and strike a pole," according to a Vancouver Police Department (VPD) release.

The Honda driver, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and was extracted from his car. The driver of the Dodge Caravan wasn't seriously hurt.

Detectives from VPD’s Collision Investigation Unit believe the collision happened when the "driver of the Dodge Caravan was making a left turn from East 41st Avenue to head south on Quebec Street" and the Honda driver was concurrently travelling east on 41st Avenue through the intersection.

The VPD asks anyone who saw the East Vancouver collision or has dash-cam video of it, to call the Collision Investigation Unit at 604-717-3012.
