This bear family was caught frolicking in a pool in Coquitlam. Lyle Jeffrey took a video of the mama bear and cubs in the water and posted it on Twitter.

With record high June temperatures hitting the Tri-Cities, everyone is looking for a place to cool off — even bears.

Lyle Jeffrey, who lives near Mundy Park in Coquitlam, captured the antics of a mama bear and two cubs as they took a dip in the family pool.

As expected, media quickly picked up the video which was shared many times.

The video was uploaded to Twitter about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 27, just as temperatures were reaching 37C or higher.

Jeffrey told the Tri-City News the bears stayed in the pool for about an hour and then wandered off to Mundy Park.
