'I was yelling and swearing': Maple Ridge woman wins $637,000 Lotto Max

A Maple Ridge woman is waking up richer on Monday, after winning a Lotto Max draw.

Samantha Lowe said she nearly fell out of bed when she was reviewing her six numbers from the Lotto Max draw from Feb. 23.

“I have a routine to wake up and check my e-mails, and I got an e-mail from PlayNow telling me I had won a prize,” said Lowe in a press release.

“When I logged in, I couldn’t believe it when I saw my balance in the corner of my screen.”

Lowe had a hard time comprehending the number on the screen in her PlayNow.com account that displayed $637,354.10.

“I was yelling and swearing, it was pure shock. I had a huge smile on my face, too. Because as soon as you see that … how can you not smile?” said Lowe, adding she plans to pay off some bills.
