Wanted man previously charged with sex offences believed to be on run with teen daughters

Caleb Gerbrandt, 40, and daughters Eliyah, 14, and Avery, 13, went missing from his home in Salmon Arm on Jan. 21. They are believed to be in the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island area.

Salmon Arm RCMP are seeking the public's assistance to locate a wanted man and his two daughters.

Caleb Gerbrandt, 40, and daughters Eliyah, 14, and Avery, 13, went missing from his home in Salmon Arm on Jan. 21 and are believed to be in the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island area.

Police say Gerbrandt was recently charged with sexual interference and sexual assault on a minor, and both daughters were to be staying at their grandparents' in Salmon Arm.

Police and family have not been able to make contact with any of the three.

"We believe that Caleb is actively evading police. He is required to abide by a curfew and be inside his Salmon Arm residence every night, a condition which he is now breaching," says Staff Sgt. Scott West.

A warrant has been issued for Gerbrandt's arrest.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call their local police or Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044.
