Coffee with a cop to brew conversation in Squamish

RCMP officers grab a cup with the community on Oct. 2

As the days get colder, Squamish RCMP officers are offering a warm cup of coffee to the community.

On Oct. 2, the force hosts its National Coffee with a Cop Day, bringing community members and police officers together over a cup of Joe. In Squamish, officers will be at the Ledge Coffee House on Cleveland between 9 am and 11 am this Wednesday.

The idea first began in 2011 in California, and has since been used internationally.
