The day after Cyber Monday has evolved into GivingTuesday, a global movement launched in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good.
The idea this Dec. 3, is to give generously in donations or volunteer time to support charities and non-profit organizations close to home.
There are tons of great charities to support in Squamish, depending on your interests — from the BC SPCA Squamish Branch to Squamish Helping Hands, to your church of choice, to Community Christmas Care and so many, many more.
