The Brackendale Farmers Institute has cancelled the 2018 Brackendale Fall Fair held annually in September.
Though a reason is not explicitly given, a lack of volunteers seems to be behind the cancellation.
“Future fall fairs will require significant support by locals to step up as directors and volunteers. BFI welcomes anyone who would like to participate with organizing and volunteering tasks in the future,” reads an announcement on the event’s Facebook page.
Sept. 8 would have been the 24th annual Brackendale Fall Fair.
