In Squamish, birds of a feather make cash for a good cause together.

The annual Duck in a Truck charity contest gave away thousands in cash and prizes on Aug. 3 as part of a fundraising effort for local community projects.

The Rotary Club of Squamish, which hosts the annual event, announced the winners on Aug. 7.

 

They are as follows:

 

1st prize - $10,000 cash:         

                Jesse Livermore, Ontario

 

2nd prize - Heli Sightseeing Tour, Blackcomb Helicopters:

               Rich Shanks, Squamish

 

3rd prize - Golf Package, Squamish Valley Golf Club:

               Sue Hansen, Squamish

 

4th prize - Family Pass, Sea to Sky Gondola:

               West-Barr Contracting, Squamish

 

5th prize – Dinner for two, Pepe's Chophouse & Seafood:

               West-Barr Contracting, Squamish
