Want to help out with the inaugural Squamish Constellation Festival, July 26 to 28?

The festival, which features headliners Jessie Reyez, Bahamas and Serena Ryder, takes place in one week and festival organizers are hoping to fill dozens of volunteer positions — in exchange for free weekend passes.

Approximately 60 positions remain to be filled as of Thursday, July 18, primarily in parking, bike valet, and the green team, according to festival co-producer Tamara Stanners.

“As Canada’s first zero-waste festival we require a strong workforce to ensure we can meet our goal,” said Stanners. “This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help this festival thrive in our community for many years to come.

We know from so many of the community organizations we’ve all been a part of that volunteerism is the heart of Squamish,” said Stanners.
